BOILING POINT FEATURE 2021
Matriarch Productions’ first feature film ‘Boiling Point’ premiered at the London Film Festival in October 2021 and was released in theatres in the UK in January 2022. ‘Boiling Point’ was released on Netflix in March 2022, nominated for 11 BIFA awards with 4 wins and 4 BAFTA nominations including Outstanding British Film, Best Debut Director and Leading Actor.
BOILING POINT TV SERIES
As a result of the phenomenal success of the feature film, we embarked upon making a 4 part TV series for the BBC. Which sees the majority of the original cast returning alongside many up and coming actors and newcomers, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents on screen.
SPIT OF YOU - SAM FENDER
Collaborated with award winning singer-songwriter Sam Fender on the music video for his single ‘Spit Of You’.
POP
Set within a forgotten Midlands village, POP follows a true tale about gender identity and social expectations. We follow Jack who befriends a lawless convict as a father figure in the hope to understand his masculinity.
